Hello everyone, Happy almost Thanksgiving.

WOW, I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving. Where has this year gone? It's almost time to start putting up Christmas decorations. It's a family tradition to put our Christmas tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving along with the outside lights. OMGoodness that's NeXt WeeKeNd!! I need to start mentally preparing myself. LoL...

Today Erich and I went and got new LED Icicle lights to put outside on the house. Last year we switched out the lights on our Christmas tree to the LED and We LoVeD ThEm. I couldn't believe how much cooler a thousand LED lights was compared to a thousand of the old ones.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make many paper piecing sets this month because I've been sick. I developed a virus in my inner ear so I was on a 24 hour roller coaster for a week. NoT FuN! This last week I'm doing a lot better. I just get a little dizzy and off balance when I turn my head or bend over too fast. Thank goodness I don't have to do much of that when I'm scrapbooking. LoL…

A couple of my buyers requested that I make some paper piecings of The Jetsons last month. I was able to get one set finished and half of this one before I got sick. Check it out.

Hi Everyone, Happy Halloween

Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything for a month. Where did the time go!! For one week of it we went on vacation at Disney in Florida and of course we went to Universal for a couple of days. We had to check out the ‘Wizarding World of Harry Potter’. UnBeLiEvAbLe!!! If you’re a Harry Potter fan you’ve got to go if you get the chance.

Before we left I listed a couple sets of paper piecings but I didn’t have a chance to post them for you to see. I was too busy packing and getting ready for our trip. LoL.. While I’m sitting here waiting for the Trick or Treater’s to start coming I thought I’d go ahead and start this update.

I had a couple of my buyers request for me to make and list two Paper Piecing Sets. The first buyer wanted a set with ‘Scooby Doo’. When she asked the first thing I thought of was haunted houses. So here’s a look at how it came out.

Clifford the Big Red Dog Paper Piece Set

Last week I had one of my buyers suggest that I make a Clifford paper piece set. I LoVe it when my buyers give me suggestions. I don’t have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I’m going to make. It takes me so long to make up my mind. There’s so many I’d like to do…. Donna thank you so much for the suggestion.

I love how they came out. My only problem was after I finished making them they were a lot bigger than I was expecting. Here's a look at my newest additions.

The Flintstones Paper Piece Sets

It’s been so exciting since I’ve switched over from making scrapbook layouts to just making my paper piecing sets. I was so reluctant at first but it’s been such a blessing. I’m getting so many custom orders now. It’s unbelievable…. What’s so great is I don’t have the issues that I had with making my layouts. Now I’m able to create more. There’s no OCD kicking in… LoL….

I thought I would share with you the last 2 paper piecings sets I listed on eBay. They were really a lot of fun to make. Now here’s a cartoon that I use to watch and it sure was a lot different from The Family Guy. LoL….. I really don’t think they make cartoons like this anymore. How different life was back then.

Family Guy Paper Piece Set Custom Order

I made a Family Guy custom order paper piece set a few weeks ago for one of my buyers so I thought I would make one to list on eBay. I figured because it was so fun to make that it would be a good idea. My daughter came in the night I listed it and was commenting on how beautiful they were. Then she looked at me and sad, “Did you list these on eBay? Have you ever watched this show?” When I told her no she looked at me and smiled saying, “I don't know mom it's pretty much out there." I hope I didn’t make a mistake. LoL… I really need to watch this show and see what she was talking about.

All your kind words about my work has made my day. It really means a lot to me. You’re so sweet. Here’s one example of my work when I made this fun layout last year. I haven’t been making layouts for a few months now. I’m really enjoying doing the paper piecing sets because I can get more done in less time. I’m such a perfectionist that it would take me a week to make one layout. I’d get the paper piecings done really quick but then my issues would raise its dreary head when it comes to picking out what paper to use, how to do the mats, tags, what embellishments do I use and then where do I put them all. LoL.. I can make Mickey and Minnie Mouse doing just about anything. Thank you for asking about it.

Well, I just finished the third and last of my custom orders. For this set my buyer had pictures of her husband and sons watching the show on TV. I was really happy this time because I took the pictures before I packaged it all up to mail. LoL I really love how it turned out. I sure hope she's happy with it.

Caillou Paper Piece Set

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited! I received three custom orders to do some paper piecings from a buyer a couple of weeks ago. I’d like to share with you the pictures of this second set I made. Would you believe I forgot to take pictures of the first set before I mailed them off? Oh well, I do seem to forget a lot these days. LoL… This set was all packaged up, taped and all ready to be mailed and when I was walking out the door I remembered THE PICTURES…. So I came back in, cut open the envelope on one side and pulled them out so I could take the pictures. After I took them I just stuck the paper piecings back in the envelope, taped up the side and you couldn’t even tell that I did it.

For this set my buyer had some pictures of her twin girls sitting on the couch watching Caillou on TV. On the first paper piece I left the couch empty so she could crop a picture and have her girls sitting on the couch. I sure hope she likes how her set turned out.

Dora and the Unicorn Prince Paper Piece Set

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you my newest 9 piece paper piecing set I listed on eBay tonight. I really love how it turned out. I handmade all of the paper piecings accept for the tree and picture frame. I wasn’t planning on making a frame with this set but when I pulled out my Cricut cartridge ‘Cindy Lou’ I noticed the tree had a frame option and I blurted out, “How neat is this.” so of course I had to make one. Unfortunately when I was almost finished with the set I go and spill water on my finished unicorn paper piece. OMG! It was hard enough to make it the first time but now I have to make it again. LoL… Thank goodness I was able to take the tail and main apart and spread it out on my table without tearing it. I was hoping I could reuse it after it dried. Sad to say the body was a hopeless case. LoL.. Well at least I got it done.

Here‘s my latest paper piece set I’ve listed on eBay. I was thinking I’d do something that was fun and then I thought of ‘BaD HaiR DaY’. This is a condition I suffer from every day. LoL.. It sure was fun to make and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

The title was cut from my Cricut and every thing else is handmade.

Strawberry Shortcake Paper Piecing Set

I'm really enjoying making the paper piecing sets instead of my layouts. Between trying to figure out what paper and flowers to use and then where to put them it takes me a week to do one layout. I was able to complete 2 different paper piecing sets in 4 days. WooHoo!! I'm on a roll!! LoL.... A couple weeks ago a made a Strawberry Shortcake set and it did so well that I thought I would put together a different set so here it is.

I love turning blank pieces of paper into works of art.

I was watching TV over the weekend and saw a commercial for a new 'Winnie the Pooh' movie coming out soon. So I started thinking that would make a great paper piecing set to list on eBay. I got to work and created this set and listed it tonight. I’m really glad on how they turned out. I strive to make them as realistic as I can.
